Happy Birthday Jaycie....Sweet Sixteen and never been MISSED!!!

Happy Birthday Miss Jaycie!

Yes, it's true, our oldest daughter is 16. I can't believe how fast the time has flown, it seems like just yesterday that she was a cute little girl. Now she's just a cute big girl!

We had a very eventful day! It started with the.....

Driver's License

She went into the DMV with her little certificate that said she passed her test. -7...not bad!

Answering questions for the lady! Psycho picture taking mom!

Coming out with the official thing! She can actually drive alone, after years of waiting!

Happy Sweet 16!

And off she went to school all by herself!

Then came.....

The Date!

A cute guy in our ward was thoughtful enough to ask Jaycie on her first date....the day of her birthday!

He told her to be ready at 3:30pm and to wear warm clothes!

He took her on the funnest date! They went four wheeling, skeet shooting, and then took a very exciting trip to the emergency room! They were on a double date, and the other guy that was with them got in a fight with the skeet pull. The skeet pull evidentally won! He gashed his nose open and ended up with stitches. I still haven't heard how many. They were supposed to go to dinner, but instead Sam came over for cake with the family while his friend hung out at the hospital! Jaycie had a great time though, it will be a memorable first date for sure!

The night before her birthday Grandma Sandy came by to give Jaycie her gift!

I think she was excited to see her new keyboard!

Thanks Grandma!

It will provide hours of fun for all!

Later we had a few friends over to share birthday cake!

The Slivers, Griffins, Cartys, and Berryessas came to share the fun!

Happy Birthday to you!

a few gifts!

her favorite, a cute purse that the ever talented Trudy Berryessa made!

What a fun day it was! There is a lot of fun yet to come! The BIG party is on Saturday! We have been working for weeks to prepare for this party and I will have pictures posted on Sunday! It should be quite the production! Lots of fun though!

Happy Birthday Jaycie, we love you!
