Makin' Memories!

Thursday (July 16th) I got off work early so that I could spend some quality time with

my kiddos. They left for Shotwell Camp on Beaver Mt. the next morning!

BJ and Olivia helped make some butterfinger cookies to take to camp!

Treats are a big part of camp, and we always have made the

same treats every year to take.....

All Star Baseball

Tuesday July 14th it was the All Star baseball game at the Road Runner Field.

We had pizza on the lawn all together before the game started!

and sitting in the 102 degrees!

Saturday, July 11th we packed up and went out to Sand Hollow to some

cliff jumpin' and cool off in the water!

Jaycie is very proud of her tan this summer! She's the darkest red head I know!

4th of July Festivities!

That night we had THE MOSTEST, BESTEST BBQ in the world.

My brother made a Bacon Bomb... which is basically a heart attack waiting to

happen! We also had his famous brisket, Jim Griffin's marvelous bacon wrapped shrimp

and my cheesy potatoes and Rick's dutch oven potatoes to top it all off!

This was the Ultimate BBQ group!

Independence Day!

On the morning of the 4th of July we headed up to Snow Canyon

for a little hike! We did the White Rocks Trail.

As you can see, it was pretty hot! But we had a good time.... lots of water!Stopping for a little break in the shade

She was not very happy to have hiked to the top.
But she did awesome!

Friday, I was fortunate to the have the day off for the 4th of July!!

We packed a cooler and headed out to Gunlock Res. for some fun in the sun!

Sky looked pretty good for the day after!
